THE POP ART DIVA BLOG IS HAVING A CONTEST

Yes, I finally decided to have a contest and it's a very Pop Art Diva style of contest:
  • What kind of contest? A RETRO TRIVIA QUESTION CONTEST - What else would you expect from me?
  • What does it cost to enter? NOTHING except your time to participate in the quiz for the next week.
  • What are the Rules? THE CONTEST DETAILS are below at the bottom of this post.
What will you win? This adorable set of 3 limited edition DKNY CANDY APPLE FRAGRANCES donated by DKNY:I was contacted by DKNY and asked if I would be interested in promoting their new limited edition Delicious Candy Apples Collection of fragrances which is launching in February. It's not my practice to promote any products - other than my own - but they said they would give me a set of these fun new Pop Art looking perfumes as a prize to give away to my readers, as well as a set for myself! Gotta be honest with you I loved their packaging and thought you might too! (Guys don't run away just yet, you could really score some points with your current lady if you win!) The bottles are totally Pop Art style - fun, whimsical and in some hot pop art colors.

The limited edition Delicious Candy Apples Collection is the latest entry into the best-selling DKNY family of his and her fragrances. The three new fragrances are all about pairing the sweetness of candy with a ripe, juicy apple. The fragrances are currently only available at DKNY.com and will be available in Sephora, Department stores and Perfumeries nationwide in February 2010.

Each fragrance has it's own personality. The Sweet Caramel comes in the Green Apple Bottle, the Ripe Raspberry in the Red Apple and the Juicy Berry in the Purple Apple. Sweet Caramel opens with candy apple, pear and marshmallow notes, which blend into a heart of jasmine, muguet and violet leaves and a drydown of caramel and vanilla. Ripe Raspberry opens with raspberry, apple and lime notes, a heart of peonies and lily, and a drydown of cola accord. Juicy Berry opens with black currant, blackberry, pear and lychee notes, blends into a heart of rose petals and apple blossom, and finishes with sandalwood and sugary blond woods.

My favorite is the Juicy Berry - probably because of the blending of some of my favorite fruit essences with the rose and apple. These frangrances remind me of some of my favorite martini recipes from The Martini Diva and they fit right in with my birthday celebration martinis this month based on CANDY! How could I not love that?

Here's their adorable little animated apple dancing video - enjoy:
