I got interested in Carousels way back in the eighties. I was in love with the intricate carvings from the masters like Loofe, Mangels, Illions and, of course, Dentzel, to name just a few. Here I've taken many of the classics and recreated them with my lovely Prismacolor colored pencils on pastel accented, colored Canson papers. In some I've made some changes to suit my personal color tastes and preferences, that's what art is all about for me, putting my own creative touch on the world.
I think these are beautiful for nurseries, children's rooms and for Carousel collectors.
I have quite a few of these so check back often for new prints being added. The originals are all sold, sorry, though there may be some new ones in the future when and if my muse takes me on that ride!
