THIRTEEN THINGS TO DO ON A RAINY DAY
By the way, a really funny Twitter tee shirt makes great jammies.
- Sleep in.
- Stay in your jammies and read the paper an extra hour
- Watch all the silly morning talk shows and do your mani-pedi
- Cook chili and cornbread for dinner
- Bake a chocolate cake for dessert too
- Okay, do a little work - but only a little
- Take your dog for a walk in the rain - don't ask me why but they love to get soaked on a walk but if you ask them just to go pee in the backyard they dig in their heels at the door.
- Watch all the silly afternoon talk shows - they'll put you to sleep and a nap while the rain patters on the roof is the best kind of sleep
- Sit outside and enjoy the smell of the rain and the lovely drops on all the plants
- Take an afternoon bath and put on fresh jammies
- Have a cup of cocoa while the thunder rolls overhead and you go through all your old photo albums (I just got all mine back after 13 years!)
- Eat your chili while watching some late afternoon reruns like Father Knows Best or Welcome Back, Kotter
- Make some popcorn, get back into bed and watch Mel Brooks movies while the rain continues to patter on the roof as you fall asleep - remember to put the sleep timer on!
By the way, a really funny Twitter tee shirt makes great jammies.

Love this list :-)
Where were your photo albums?
Janet - my photos and family heirlooms have been in storage for 12 years waiting for me to come home again - it was so great to get them back again and I hope to scan and post some of my favorites with some stories soon.
I don't have to wait for a rainy day, do I? 'Cause a lot of this stuff I do anyway.
Alice - hehehe, yeah me too - being self employed does allow for a little leeway in our work and play hours doesn't it?
I'm a curl-up-and-read kinda rainy day girl.
But the chili and cornbread? YUM!
Susan - the chili was really good and perfect for a rainy day. . . and I have leftovers and today is overcast!
Sounds like a wonderful way to spend a rainy day.
Happy T13!
Sounds like a perfect day. I've spent many a day in my jammies. Soooo relaxing. Thanks for letting me stop by.

AD - thanks for stopping by and after reading both your TTs I have to think you have love on your mind, lol.
Fun list - I love Blazing Saddles!
The Starboobs T-shirt I got from you is one of my favorites for jammies.
Debbie - e-mail me @ boob@popartdiva.com and I'll send you a fun card format for the Starboobs design you can use for cards!
Glad you liked it - it was my warped sense of humor at work, lol.
We had a puppy who WOULD NOT go to the bathroom in the rain. (My blog is named after that puppy!) she didnt go to the bathroom for days and got sick. I finally had to take her to the vet. From then on she would go in the rain, but I had to hold an umbrella over her. BTW. She LOVED water and would swim in a puddle if she could.
